Rosa Griffith is an award-winning journalist and visual artist based in Sydney, Australia.

Rosa’s work has been published in The Australian, The Roar, Booker Magazine, Central News and The Wire. Her work spans written, visual and digital reporting.

She was recognised as one of three finalist’s for Student Journalist of the Year at the 2025 Walkley Foundation’s Mid-Year Media Prize for her year’s portfolio. Rosa’s true-crime podcast Danger in Dangar Place was highly commended at the 2024 JERAA Ossie Awards for Student Journalism. She was also awarded Best Entrepreneurial Project at the 2025 UTS Journalism Awards for her political explainer podcast The Blind Spot.

Rosa completed a Bachelor of Journalism with Distinction at the University of Technology Sydney in 2025. During her degree she received a scholarship to participate in an exchange programme with City St George’s University of London. Rosa has also completed her Certificate III in Screen and Media and studies traditional realism painting at Julian Ashton Art School in her spare time.
